I’m Simone Hutsch aka heysupersimi, a passionate graphic designer and enthusiastic self-taught architecture photographer from Berlin, Germany and currently living in London, UK.

My work is all about minimal architecture projects that combine art and photography and let people dive into a surreal ‘Accidentally Wes Anderson’ world.
Self-motivated projects as well as commissioned work trigger my curiosity and keep my creative juices flowing.

I’m using my camera to explore the geometry of architecture. When I’m outside, I get a different perspective on the world. While capturing photos, I always have that final image in mind. Patterns, colors, shapes, and perspectives are all highly inspirational to me. The perspective has a significant impact, and it’s remarkable to observe how the geometry of a building changes depending on the perspective. My retouching process also plays a crucial role as it allows me to create entirely new structures, clean up the facade, and change colors. I enjoy both aspects of the process: capturing images outside and retouching them at home.

But the most rewarding aspect of my work is when I can inspire people.

Ich bin Simone Hutsch, aka heysupersimi und fotografiere moderne Architektur neben meinem Hauptberuf als Grafik Designerin.

Momentan wohne und arbeite ich in London, dennoch gibt es für mich, als Berlinerin nichts, was mich mehr inspiriert, als die Stadt selbst. Sie ist ständig im Wandel. Neue Fassaden oder Gebäude mit ungewöhnlichen Formen, sowie die Perspektive spielen eine entscheidende Rolle.

Jedem Foto verleihe ich in meinem Bearbeitungsprozess eine surreale Stimmung, kein Gebäude existiert, wie auf dem Foto, im wirklichen Leben.

Menschen mit meiner Arbeit zu inspirieren beutet mir sehr viel.
